ACCS – Toilets

There were only 2 toilets, serving 300 children. The toilets were in a dilapidated and unsanitary condition. There was no direct water supply nearby and many children resorted to using the surrounding area as their toilet.

New toilets were installed.

Washing facilities were provided, with the siting of 2 taps near the toilets, fed with a direct supply from the borehole.

The cubicles received a much-needed facelift; the walls were plastered, lockable doors were fitted, walls were painted and the whole area tidied and resurfaced.
